Honeywell QuietSet Whole Room Tower Fan Is Keeping Me Cool Review

During these dog days of summer, there are two things that don't go hand and hand.  That's staying cool and lower electric bills.  Honeywell QuietSet Tower Fan can help with that.

With prices rising on everything from food to gas Neil have been taking a hard to find things that we can control to save money.  When Neil started talking about setting the thermostat higher, poison darts flew from my eyes.  Are you serious?  We live in Florida for goodness sakes!

All in all, I knew he was right.  For the past month I've been able to really review the QuietSet Whole Room Tower Fan (HY-280).  We moved our thermostat up from 74 to 77 during the day and up from 72 to 76 during the night.  We replaced our small oscillating desktop fan in the bedroom with the QuietSet and boy did it make a difference.  We were more comfortable while we slept and best of all was the quiet factor.

The Honeywell QuietSet® Whole Room Tower Fan uses the new and revolutionary QuietSet® technology which lets you choose from 8 levels of quiet operation as you adjust the cooling power of this fan. Use the fan to help you feel cooler and more comfortable without the excessive noise of a standard fan! This sleek and elegant fan is perfect for a medium to large room while offering you a chance to save up to 20% on heating and cooling bills.

I really like the slim, elegant look and being able to keep the remote control next to the bed makes operating it a breeze (forgive the pun).  It's takes up a minimum of space and isn't visually distracting like other fans.   The fan is appropriate for medium to large rooms.  Our bedroom is 15 ft x 18 ft and it's cools just fine.

There are so many wonderful features with the QuietSet.  Powerful, quiet, whole room circulation with 8 levels of Quiet Control including "whisper" and "white noise”.  Sleek LED Electronic Controls with Auto Shut-Off Timer has multiple settings (1, 2, 4, and 8 hour settings).  The Remote Control Nest and Cord Management Oscillation keeps things looking neat.  It has an Easy-to-carry handle.

I was given the opportunity from the company to review the fan but I whole-heartily would recommend this the Honeywell QuietSet Whole Room Tower fan to anyone.  With an MSRP of $69.99 and a 1 Year Warranty, it's an affordable option for any household.

Disclosure:  The product(s) provided for the review were sent to me free of charge from the company or the PR agency. All opinions are my own and were not influenced in anyway.

  1. Nice review! I think we are the only people living in a place where a fan isn't required. It's in the low 40s here this morning. :)
Thanks for popping over to enter my giveaway. Good luck!

  2. It looks like a nice fan. The word "quite" caught my attention. We cannot afford to use the air conditioner, so we have fans around the house and one, in particular, is so loud, it sounds like a jet plane engine. It has to go. Thank you for a thorough review.
