My thoughts:

I received the Coconut Lime Verbena and the Yellow Raspberry and Black Sugar scents both of which I like, but I was really hoping for the Water Blossoms, guess I'll be buying that one next.  It just looks and sounds more like my kind of scent.  

I've put one in my kitchen where we do a lot of hand washing and the other in our half bath.  Both scents have put me in the mood for sunshine and summer.  Plus I just think the vibrant colors are exciting and pretty.  

But I'm not the only one who lives in this house, there's a guy here too.  Neil doesn't want a girly perfume scent and I don't blame him.  Again the Dial people were covering all the bases because these scents are gender friendly.  Plus Neil can appreciate the micro-scrubbers.  He's a bar soap kinda guy and I hate having a dirty bar of soap laying around, especially in the front bathroom.  Now we're both happy!! This is the perfect family soap.

What do I think

I received the Alpine Fresh scent which is good because it has bleach and I have very hard water.  When I first opened the package I thought oh' no, it's that strong pine scent.  Yuck.  That was misleading because once I placed it in the toilet I didn't even smell it when I first flushed it.  The next time I came in it smelled wonderful. It was soft, clean and not overpowering at all.  Perfect.   You can see in the last photo how when the toilet is flushed the water runs over the plastic cage allowing the cleaning power and scent to go to work.

After using it for a week I found that it does prevent future buildup and fights toilet ring.  Like I told you I have really hard water and it leaves a ring in just a couple of days.  It's embarrassing because it looks like I don't clean.  I do and often.  So I'm really pleased to find something that helps.  All for under $2.00 who can beat a price like that!  I'll be using the NEW Soft Scrub 4-IN-1 Toilet Care on a regular basis.

New Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Giveaway

With all the talk of Spring cleaning I think it's a good time to share my latest review of the NEW Soft Scrub® Total All Purpose Bath and Kitchen Cleanser!

Of course, there wouldn't be a review without a GIVEAWAY so just keep reading for that.

Our every day/every week chores don't wait for Spring.  We know this all too well, right?  And who doesn't want to make those jobs as quick and effortless as possible.  You know, years ago when Soft Scrub first came out I wasn't a big fan.  Having grown up use products like Comet and Ajax powder cleanser's like my mama and grandma did, I didn't feel like they got the job done. The Soft Scrub was a little gritty but I had to scrub harder to just to get my surfaces clean, and I'm all about not working harder so I went back to my powered cleansers.  That wasn't really making me happy either, because no matter how much I rinsed, hubby said there was still a powdery film left on the counters, and he was right.


Well times have changed!  To start with I really liked the fresh lemon scent. A lemon cleanser makes everything smell cleaner.  It's subtle with no overpowering fumes.  Plus the new bottle and cap design improve dispensing, preventing spills and making it more efficient to use.

Most important Total All Purpose Bath and Kitchen Cleanser is tough on stains, yet gentle on surfaces. I also love the fact that it's an All Purpose cleanser, meaning I can use it in the kitchen or bath.  So I don't have tons of cleansers taking up value space.  The new and improved formula has more whitening power and less residue for better rinsing. That means better cleaning and faster rinsing for your tile, grout, sinks, and tubs.  Can I get a Hallelujah!

Here a wiped the creamy Soft Scrub on and just waited for a couple of minutes.

You can see how clean it came with only light scrubbing using a soft sponge. Much better right!

When I became a Purex Insider, who knew that I would get to review products like deodorant, clothes and food?  But with Purex Insiders I never know what opportunity might come next. Which brings me today’s review of Dry Idea AdvancedDry Antiperspirant and Deoderant.

A couple of Tips:

• Check the label on your deodorant product.
  You’re in a hurry at the store (and aren’t you always?).  But don’t just grab the first bottle you see. Make sure you always purchase an antiperspirant or antiperspirant/deodorant and not just a deodorant.  Deodorants contain nothing to help stop sweat.

• Wear cotton
  Just like you can breathe to reduce perspiration -- cotton breathes as well. It allows for more airflow, therefore less perspiration and odor. Silk or artificial fibers can cling to your skin and restrict airflow.

Okay now it’s time to get down to the nitty-gritty with the what and whys of sweating oops I’m mean glistening as we call it here in the South, because of course we ladies don’t sweat in this 100 degree heat we have.  I think being here gives me a distinct advantage in reviewing antiperspirant.

Actually as I matured, very nice wording, don’t you think, I’ve been noticing that I do “glisten” more and even, gasp, have an occasional odor.  So finding an antiperspirant that can meet my needs is more important than ever.  Hey, just being real.  I’ve been using a solid antiperspirant for several years and actually I found that I like the smooth roll-on Dry Idea AdvancedDry.  It goes on wet but dries very quickly and doesn’t leave that tacky feeling that I remember from past roll ons.  It kept me dry and fresh feeling all day.  Sorry, but I didn’t do a 72 test, I have my limit’s ya’ll. I would give Dry Idea AdvancedDry roll-on 5 stars.  I say that because I know it’s going to be the next one I purchase when spending my own money.  Man I love that scent!!
