Neil loves mashed potatoes. I however don't always love what it takes to make them. Well Betty Crocker and MyBlogSpark just made my life a little easier. I was contacted and asked if I'd like to review Betty Crocker's Potato Buds and being the wise girl I am said "Yes". But that's not all they decided to sweeten the deal and offer my wonderful readers a chance to win a prize pack too! Yahoo ~ I love to have something to share with y'all.

These were so quick and simple too make. They only take 5 minutes. I thought about not telling Neil about Betty and me but then he would wonder why I was suddenly spoiling him every week, so I fessed up. I did add more butter and milk to% make this more suitable to our taste. I'm thinking up other things to add as I'm typing this. Maybe some herbed pototoes? Or maybe cheese!
Betty Crock Potato Buds are 100% Real Potatoes and they are gluten free. My Granddaughter is on a gluten free diet, it's a shame she's not here but I will be telling her mom about these.
I love the wooden bowl, huge, hot pads and large serving spoon that came with the potatoes buds. Thank you Betty Crocker and MyBlogSpark!
Here's a picture of the dinner I made. Delicious if I say so myself. Betty Crocker Potato Buds, Boneless Pork Chops covered with mushrooms and cheddar cheese (my family has loved these pork chops for years and so simple), asparagus sprouts and Grands biscuits. Of course it wouldn't be dinner in the South without some good ole' sweet tea.
Cheesy Mushroom Pork Chops
Pork Chops
1 small can mushrooms
cheddar cheese
Worcestershire Sauce
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Melt approx. 2 Tbsp butter in skillet and saute drained mushrooms. Set mushrooms aside add more butter and pork chops over mid-high heat, sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce. When pork chops are done top each with mushrooms and some sliced cheddar cheese. Cover pan with lid, let cook just a minute or two until cheese just starts to melt. Yum!

So if you would like to win a prize pack just like the one I received here's your chance.
