Pillsbury Grands Biscuits Giveaway

Pillsbury Grands and I have solved an issue I have. One of my very favorite meals is a ham biscuit from Hardees.  Actually it's the only thing I eat from Hardees.   It's your typical Southern comfort food.  Good salt ham on a hot biscuit.  Yum!  Well I never get to eat them anymore.  We have a night schedule.  We work here at home till the wee hours of the mornings so we never make it out of the house for traditional breakfast hours.   Our breakfast comes late, pushing back all the other meals with it.

So when Pillsbury Grands asked if I'd like to review their Mini Grands frozen biscuits, well lets just say my eyes popped wild open.   The mini's are the perfect size for us.  There are only the 3 of us and my MIL being 90 eats a childs portion or less anyway, making them the perfect size for her.

Pillsbury Grands  are so convenient too. The mini's are so popular I had to buy the regular biscuit size.  They were all out of mini's.  Because they come frozen, you only use as many as you need at the time.  Yesterday morning I made sausage and cheese biscuits for Neil and his Mom (photo above).  They love sausage patties but I only eat link sausage.  Since we had baked ham for dinner I will be having a ham on Pillsbury Grands tomorrow morning.  This biscuits are so good that just butter and a biscuit is a snack for me.

I'm pretty excited about making  quick individual cobblers with them too.  I always keep a can of fruit pie filling in the pantry to top cheese cake with or maybe make a dump cake.  Well now I'm thinking, how simple and easy it would be to put a last minute dessert together using Pillsbury Mini Grands frozen biscuits and the canned fruit topping.
Here the oh' so simple recipe I've come up with:

Individual Blueberry Cobblers using Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
Recipe:
Ingredients

Mini Grands frozen biscuits
1 cup canned blueberry pie filling
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup whipped topping or vanilla ice cream

That's all you need.  Simple, easy so far right.

1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2.  Place Pillsbury Grand Minis  on ungreased cookie sheet.
3.  Combine melted butter and brown sugar and brush the top of each biscuit.
4.  Bake 2 - 6 biscuits for 24-26 minutes.
5.  Split the biscuits and spoon on blueberry topping and finish with a dollop of whipped topping.

*not necessary but you can heat the blue berry pie filling and add vanilla ice cream instead of whipped topping.

Is that easy or what?
