Purex has done it again. They have an all new product. Let me introduce you to the Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets.
By now you know what a fan I am of Purex Crystals fabric softener. It's the only fabric softener I've used since it was first put on the market. I'll go to my grave loving it! Well now Purex has come out with the Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets and that means you'll get 30 days of long-lasting freshness. Who knew that one little sheet could do so much? sAnd who could argue with that? Just one of these little sheets provides you big results like these:
- 30 days of long-lasting freshness
- Reduces static cling
- Repels pet hair and lint
With 4 cats and a dog, you know I'm excited about that!! So, what's different about Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets vs the old ones? 3x's more fragrance for starters and great static cling reduction too. The smaller box is also at a more affordable price point. Plus, they work even better than before.
I get the full benefit of my dryer sheets by using the already used sheets. Instead of throwing them away, put them to good used after they take a spin in your dryer. Here's a list of some uses I've found. (some I've tried - others I haven't)
- Dust your television screen. The anti-static chemicals in a dryer sheet will help repel dust and lint.
- Stuff new or used dryer sheets in places like your gym bag, tennis shoes, luggage, etc. for a fresh scent.
- Have pet hair on your clothing or cloth furniture? Simply wipe with a used sheet to remove the hair.
- Place a dryer sheet in your vacuum bag to leave a fresh scent behind after cleaning your floors.
- Place a few dryer sheets under your car seats for a fresh smell.
- Wipe the chrome fixtures in your house or on your car with used dryer sheets to leave them bright and shiny.
- Remove static electricity from your hair by wiping with a used dryer sheet.
- I place fresh dryer sheets in my linen closet to keep things extra fresh
- Drop a sheet in your trash cans in your home. It keeps your room smelling fresh while out of sight.
- I hate the smell of medicines, so I have one in my medicine cabinet.
What do I think
I received a box of the Lavender Blossom sheets to try. When I first open my package I was a little taken back by the strong scent. You could smell it throughout the room and I was afraid I would be walking around smelling like a lavender bouquet. Never fear, I uhem, my clothes just smell wonderful. My clothes smell fresh and clean and I don't have to worry about Neil smelling like a bouquet of flowers either. You're welcome Neil.

I have one of those 3-bin laundry sorters, and the kids each have a hamper…they're good about bringing their laundry to the laundry room & sorting it. I have lights, darks & whites (I add bleach to the whites- guys underwears, socks, kitchen towels, etc). I don't mind putting it in & switching it to the dryer, but I really don't like folding. I've been trying to get the kids to do more of that LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have a hamper for clothing and a hamper for towels and other wet items.
ReplyDeleteI know this is terrible, but I don't sort my laundry. We almost have no white or delicate laundry anyway. My clothes and my husbands clothes go into a pile and into the wash.
ReplyDeletei have six kids so i do laundry just about every day.It all goes into one hamper in the laundry room.
ReplyDeleteI have separate bins so its easier to put in the wash
ReplyDeleteI usually wait to the laundry piles up and then tackle it.
ReplyDeleteI have separate bins for sorting my clothes as I put them in the laundry room it really helps me not get the wrong color in the wrong bin
