Besides the fresh scent, my favorite thing about Purex Crystals is that this fabric softener doesn't reduce the absorbency of towels like other fabric softeners do.  That's BIG!!  And my clothes smell fresh for weeks not days.
Purex makes it so easy to use.  Beside being able to add it add the beginning of the wash, they've even included lines in the cap as reference for the size of your load.  A bottle lasts a really long time if you use the load references.
I use the crystals for more than laundry.  I keep a dish with a handful out on top of my dryer all the time, just to keep my laundry room smelling pretty.  And not just the laundry room. I have dishes in the bathrooms too.  I've wrapped some up in a little square of muslin fabric, tied with a bow, and dropped it in my lingerie drawers, not that it's necessary after using it in the wash.  I just can't seem to get enough.  I love the fresh smell.

    Your photos are gorgeous Tracy :) My least favorite part of doing our families laundry is my husbands work uniforms. The smells before hand tossing them in the wash is terrible & bringing them afterwards is a breeze, a nice breeze b/c of help with Crystals I love this product & any scent they create! Thanks great post!

      Thanks Julie. The crystals have kept my laundry smelling fresher longer and I just love that my towels get so soft and smell good too. Also there's never stains from the crystals like what you get with another un-named laundry softener.

    My worst part of the laundry is folding. Why I don't know. Don't mine tossing dirties in the washer then into the dryer but hate the folding. Maybe a good fragrance like Purex Crystals would help to make that job easier!

      Well it does help to breathe in a nice smile. I like folding laundry most when it's really cold weather. Love the warmth. :) I don't mind folding clothes but it's probably because there's only been the 2 of us for years.

    I don't mind doing laundry but putting it all away is the worse part for me. I think having some clothes that are on hangers, then sorting all kids clothing with their individual drawers, etc seems to take forever. I was hanging all clothing up to dry then putting in dryer to dewrinkle which I need to start again. That was really taking a lot of time but saved so much on the electric bill

      That's a great tip Sandy. I never thought about doing that. I bet it does save money. I have plans for my laundry room that will make it much easier and more enjoyable for me but Lord only knows when they will come to fruition. heehee.

    I hate folding and putting up clothes on laundry day, socks used to stay in basket and kids would pull matches out of basket, now kids are grown and married and guess what they also just pile the socks in the basket. Trained well..LOL
