Do you look for new ways to prepare chicken? I hear you saying “Oh yes Tracy. Please share!” If that’s not true, just to with it and let me enjoy our conversation in my head.
I fixed (Southern term for made) this for supper. Remember dinner's at noon and supper is your evening meal down here. Although, you can catch me saying lunch or dinner, and I also say supper or dinner. Are you confused yet?
Anyway….
This chicken recipe is called Holy Yum Chicken. Why am I picturing the chicken dance in my head? This recipe was a nice change from the regular grilled chicken breast that I stovetop grill. The ingredents are few, the recipe is simple and clean up is a breeze.
The first step is to have a good recipe and my go to place is Pinterest. I love having my chromebook so I can use it in the kitchen. How did I ever do without it. Now I just have to find me a kitchen stool. Ahh, then life will be good.
I found the Holy Yum Chicken by Julie @ Table For Two. You can click HERE to see her post. You can also click HERE to go to my pinterest page and see more goodies.
Step 2: Preheat oven to 450 degrees and prepare your 8x8" pan. You want your pan to be as small as possible so that the juice doesn’t spread out and burn off. You’re going to be using it later. To line the pan you will need 2 sheets of aluminum foil. Don’t skimp, this helps the liquid stay liquid. Turn the pan upside down and and shape to the bottom, then when you turn it over it makes a perfect fit.
Step 3: Prepare the ingredients following recipe. *I didn't have any rosemary and it was still very good.
Step 4: Serve with your favorite sides.
And just in case it leaves you with room for dessert, I have another yummy and oh' so easy recipe for you. These little gems are called Strawberry Cheesecake Buttons. Click HERE to see the recipe.
I hope you enjoy it.
Hugs Y'all...
Sounds like a winner. I will surely be trying this one. xo Ginger
