Nice Weather + Great Summer = Hapari Swimsuit Giveaway

I can't believe I was dreading the heat of summer so much.  Do you know we had  a record low maximum temperature of 79 degrees on Saturday?  The previous record low/high (does that make sense?) on July 12th was 81 degrees set in 1898.  WOW!  Think about that.  I would have been wearing this....

Instead of one of these...

It would hardly be worth going to the beach, would it?  Thank heaven I wasn't living then. Can you imagine Florida's heat and no a/c.  ugghhh.

I can still remember the day when we had our central air install at my parents house.  No a/c until I was about 5 yrs old.  Crazy but we were one of the first families I knew to have it.  Funny central air conditioning and the bikini both became big in the U.S. around 1962 and lucky me by 1964 we had both - lucky me!  As good as that ice cold a/c felt, a day at the beach always felt better.  I'm like a fish out of water on dry land.
