Yippie ~ I found my lost post and didn't have to retype it. Maybe the update was just meant to show up first. If you're confused just read this.
While most of us are lucky enough to be at home with our families during the holiday season, there are many military families that aren't. Cheerios has come up with a way for us to spread a little "cheer" to those who serve us and our country so well. Right now through November 2011 Cheerios wants to help spread a little "cheer" to military families this season! Now through November 2011 - specially marked boxes of Cheerios cereal will feature Cheer postcards, like the on below right on the front of the box. All you have to do is just cut it out of the box and write a message to add some cheer to a military members holiday on the back. The card is already addressed, just add a stamp and pop it in the mail. What could be simpler than that?
And Cheerios didn't stop there
- For each postcard received through November 2012, Cheerios will make a $1 donation to the USO to help fund programs that support military families.
- To kick off the campaign, Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO and will donate up to an additional $100,000 based upon the number of postcards received from specially marked boxes now through November 30th, 2012.
Cheerios is helping me spread that holiday cheer by offering a special Cheer Prize pack, like the one below, to one of my readers.
This prize package includes:
- 1 Cheerios cereal bowl
- 1 Cheerios cereal spoon
- 1 cereal dispenser
- 1 “Cheer” box of Cheerios
