  3. Yes, a very dear male friend that passed in his early 40's from breast cancer. He told nobody he had it until his passing then his children told us

    1. That's so sad to hear Linda. It's so prevalent now, with both men & women. I'd love to see a cure for this. I have had family with Cancer. Cystic Fibrosis, Sugar Diabetes, Cancer and Heart Health for Women are my top charities. It's time to find cures for those that suffer from these. Thanks for sharing Linda.

  6. yes, i have two friends that teach with me that are in their 30's and just got back from getting complete masectomies in birmingham....so sad

  7. I've had several special women in my life affected by breast cancer. Those ladies have turned out to be my role models, they're tremendously strong and brave. Cancer has nothin' on them:)

  8. I haven't had anyone affect with breast cancer in my life but we did have a scare with my grandmother. Other forms of cancer have been in my family though.

  9. My grandmother had breast cancer. She is a fighter and made it through, praise the Lord. Im thankful Yoplait is donating so much money in trying to find a cure! Thank you

  11. My aunt had bread cancer, but the hospital finished her off with MRSA after the surgery.

    1. When my MIL was in the hospital she got MRSA too. Hospitals are scary places. I'm so sorry your Aunt lost her battle. Hope you're doing good.

    1. It's so disturbing to see just how many people have faced this disease whether they had it or knew someone special who did. I love it when a company participates in funding research to find cures. General Mills & Yoplait participate year after year.

  14. One of my friends from high school was just diagnosed in her 20s. Thankfully, she is in her last stage of treatment and doing well.

  17. Yes a very dear friend of mine was pregnant and found out she had breast cancer. She did what the docs told her and baby and Mama are doing great today. After she had her son she finished her treatments and is now a cancer survivor.

    1. I had family members with cancer when I was young to young to really understand it, I can only imagine how it affected all the older family members like my mom. I'm so glad to hear your grandmother was a survivor and you had more years to enjoy her. :)
